Vinyl in Design, presented by The Vinyl Institute, is designed to familiarize design professionals with the range of solutions vinyl provides for today’s design challenges.  The use of plastics in construction and interiors is increasing, and an objective of this program is to educate attendees about the various aspects and uses of this versatile material.  Terry Murphy, LEED-AP has worked in Interior Design for 27 years, with experience ranging from interior design and project management to teaching and public speaking.  She has taught several different classes for DuPont on nylon technology, carpet specification, color trends and reclamation.  She is now the Continuing Education Program Manager for The Vinyl Institute.  1 LU hour for AIA Continuing Education Unit will be given for this event. HSW credit, GBCI credit, and IDCEC also are provided.  Lunch is provided and cost of attendance is free to IIDA members ($10 for non-IIDA members).
