The Palms on Main Building Tour

Wednesday, May 30, 2012    12PM – 1PM

Join us for a tour of The Palms on Main in downtown Columbia, SC at the corner of Main Street and Lady Street. The former Governor’s House hotel (and most recently a Roadway Inn) has been converted into a 54-unit urban apartment building with future restaurant and retail space on the ground floor. The project architects will be available to discuss the project.

Lunch is on your own after the tour…hey, you’re on Main St. with restaurants nearby!

We do encourage walking (if you’re close enough…and the weather cooperates) and carpooling, as only street parking is available.

Church of the Apostles Building Tour

Join us for our first membership meeting of 2012 and hear about the transformation of the Church of the Apostles new campus at 1520 Bull Street.  Architects of Record, Catalyst Architects, will be on hand to discuss the renovation of and additions to the existing church and give the building tour.  For more information on the project, visit the church’s website at http://www.apostlescolumbia.org/building-project/ .
